HAPPY SUNDAY! After I come back from Melbourne, I went for staycation the very next day at Crowne Plaza Changi Airport! Back to the airport again, but not complaining because it feels like I am on another vacation!
This is probably the best airport hotel I ever stayed in. I stayed in one in Korea, another one is Europe and they are not comparable to Crowne Plaza Changi Airport. This hotel is really convenient and is connected to Changi Airport Terminal 3, with Terminals 1 and 2 accessible by SkyTrain. It is sooooo new and modern, with a hidden tropical garden within the hotel.
So I checked in to my Club room and was pleasantly surprised that the room overlooks the pool. I just have to open the door and I can jump into the pool! SUPER LOVE IT! I always wanted to buy a house where I can jump into the pool when I open my door. But of course the boyfriend thinks I am crazy because I can’t swim! LOLOL!
Our room is soooo huge, with soft and a spacious bathroom. I can check email with complimentary wireless internet; enjoy our evening cocktails at the club lounge; and enjoy complimentary breakfast at the club lounge or Azur. Even though I can’t swim, but it is really therapeutic to just sit by the pool and do some readings.
You know ah, everytime before I come for a staycation, I would check out the hotel website and have a whole list of things I want to do. One of them is definitely to hit the gym in the hotel. BUT IT NEVER HAPPENS. LOL! I always went into some F&B outlets instead.
Then I try again at night. Before I sleep, I will tell myself that I will head to the gym the next morning. But when I wake up the next morning, I will be heading to the restaurant for breakfast immediately and only remembered about the gym when I check out. haha! This is bad, so bad!
This time, I saw the signs by the lift. And I said,”Wah! Got gym leh! Let’s go club lounge to eat abit and chill leh!” No link right, I know! So we head to the club lounge instead. Had some sandwiches, salad, dim sum and desserts! Then I sat there for a long time looking at the pool. 很美！I should go learn how to swim!
Because we stayed in the club room, so we have a choice to eat in the club lounge (more privacy) or Azur (more variety). We of course went for more variety and Azur’s breakfast variety is pretty good. You can go for western or chinese, and there is eggs live station as well as chinese noodles station.
Fun times always feel short. I have a relaxing time at Crowne Plaza Changi Airport. Maybe next time I can have a bridesmaid party here!
